Fantastic, professional dedication to the job

Darren and is team performed a fantastic job re-pointing the front of our house which hadn't been re-pointed for many years. The work involved removing many hundreds of nails which had been driven into the mortar over the decades. Despite the work often being onerous, Darren was fastidious in ensuring all the nails were properly removed and that the re-pointing was done with a colour and texture to match existing brickwork. I would thoroughly recommend Repointing Services to anyone else looking to perform their re-pointing. Ian Monaghan

It pays to employ a specialist

Darren and his son repointed our house - a large semi-detached Edwardian - This was a major job taking 5-6 weeks to complete. We are delighted with the work and appreciate the care taken by Darren and Sam in leaving everything clean and tidy at the end of each day. We would have no hesitation in recommending them and in fact both our next-door neighbours have requested their services.

Professional Job

Highly recommended and will use again - Darren repaired our grade II listed wall, which had partially collapsed. He did an excellent job and we are very pleased with the result. He is knowledgeable and was able to give us advice on repair and maintenance of other parts of the wall. Good communication before and after the work and left everything clean and tidy. Many thanks.

Jane Nicoll-Jones

Great job and cares about the finished article

Would recommend - Darren repointed our porch and localised areas on our grade II Georgian Farmhouse. The work involved cutting out broken bricks and replacing these and significant repairs to areas over windows. He would consult on the best looking option and clearly wanted the best outcome for the project. He was very friendly, trustworthy and considerate, clearing up and leaving the site as he found it. Would use again!

Excellent work and professional.

Although Darren was not the cheapest, he was recommended to us. Darren was very easy to deal with, polite and friendly. He turned up and carried out the work without causing us any inconvenience. Worked carried out was to the front, side and part of the back of our property. Darren always cleaned up after he finished. Darren did an excellent job and the property now looks fantastic. Would have no issues in using Darren again.

Great job!

Darren repointed a wall of our house a few years ago. He quoted us a price that compared very well with others we had obtained. He did the job quickly and when he said he would, and the standard of his work was very high. Other tradespeople have commented on the quality of the work. I would recommend Darren without hesitation and would definitely use his services again.

Neil Pyper

Superb!

Darren is a superb tradesman. He explained the work required, gave a very fair quote and completed it exactly as promised (while also having a go at unblocking a drain for us!). I asked him to quote for some work on our new house and he came and had a look and advised that it doesn't need to be done yet - I admire that honesty! We'll definitely ask Darren to do it in a few years' time. First class work.

Thank you Darren

Following a structural engineer inspection advising repointing of our property Darren was recommended by this engineer as an expert in his field. Darren replied promptly to our request and was able to repoint our home as required within a few weeks after we accepted his quote for the job.
Darren attended punctually each day completing the work on time. Darren provided an excellent repointing service for our property which we are extremely pleased with. Darren also repointed an extra area under the bay window at no extra cost.
We would recommend Darren to anyone looking for a repointing service. We found him efficient, punctual, friendly and we are delighted with the finished look of our property. Thank you Darren.

We Certainly Made The Right Choice!

We spent a considerable amount of time looking for someone to repoint the gable wall of our property. Just by chance we found Darren’s web site and from viewing the images of his work we thought this would be a good choice.

Darren and his son arrived on time and are the type of workers whose aim is to get on with the job and provide a professional finish with great workmanship

We would recommend them to anyone and we will be using them again in the future as we have a garden retaining wall that needs some attention. We certainly made the right choice having the work done by them.

I would not hesitate to re-hire or recommend

I hired Darren (and his son) to re-point the rear of our 1902 Victorian red-brick terrace property.

The attention to detail & quality of workmanship is evident in the result and I would not hesitate to re-hire or recommend him should another job arise that required his services.

Delighted!

Delighted with the work Darren and Sam have done on our barn conversion. They had to replace bricks that had crumbled away and repointed the entire rear and gable end walls. Kept us well informed through each stage and price was as per quote. Darren is a perfectionist and his work reflects this. Has completely transformed the building it now looks fantastic.

Very Pleased

I offered Darren some difficult work on our very high double Tudor chimeys which were in a poor stae of repair and badley in need of repointing.

Darren arrived on the agreed date and completed some excellent work on time and on budget - very pleased.

Saffron Hughes

I would highly recommend his work.

I can't thank Darren enough for the lovely job he has done of repointing the front of the house and re-building a rather tumbled down wall on a sloping drive at the side of the house. He did a really thorough job, replacing some bricks that had worn away and left both wall and house looking good as new. He and Sam left the site tidy and even raked over the front garden where the scaffolding had been.

I would highly recommend his work.

Kate Macaulay - Malvern

An excellent job

Darren and his team did an excellent job of repointing our stone built house front and back. He is passionate about the job and takes the time to make sure that the finished job is both cosmetically (we had a wall which did not need to be touched, but the new mortar was matched to it) and structurally (we had some huge holes between the stonework which needed to be filled.)

The work area was also left tidy on every single day he was on site.

As you can tell from the above we would recommend him for any pointing work needed.

A Skilled Craftsman

Darren did an excellent job for us on our garden-to-road brick wall. He came whenwhe said he would, his work was to a very high standard and he was a nice guy to have around. There are some cowboys in this business - Darren is emphatically not one of them, but a skilled craftsman

Reliable and Professional

Darren is a good man to work with - reliable and professional. He patched up some brickwork at our property in January 13, blending it in to the original work so that you couldn't see the difference. We were also happy with his prices.

Frasier Stark - Worcestershire

Trustworthy and Hardworking

These guys ticked all of the boxes. Courteous from the start, arrived when promised, grafted all day and left the site tidy each evening. A few problems discovered during the re-point (Victorian house) but all resolved swiftly and the re-point looks amazing, the property is transformed. Really happy with the work and would definitely use again and recommend to anyone seeking experienced, trustworthy, hard-working and diligent couple of guys working on your home.

Absolutely no hassle!

I'm very pleased with the re-pointing of a Victorian retaining wall at the front of my house. Absolutely no hassle: everything was completely self-contained, and the clearing up at the end of every day and at the end of the work was excellent! Reasonably priced, and I'd certainly use them again.
